4 Hour Review: Skyrim Special Edition

It’s Skyrim.  Lazily remastered.  The environments look nice enough, but the character models are still butt ugly.  Also you can use mods now.  Go play something else, anything else, unless you absolutely must dive back into Skyrim.  BTW: Titanfall 2 is really, really good!

Review: Steaming Along – Killing Floor 1 & 2

By: Itshebum Since it is the season for scary, I went back to a couple of my old favorites this week. I like finding cheap games on Steam from time to time – just to see what is out there and maybe find something interesting now and then. Spending a couple bucks, to play a Read More

Editorial: Where is Destiny Going?

Destiny – This is fun! The Dark Below – Sure, OK, I’ll bite House of Wolves – A little better, but… Taken King – I suppose Rise of Iron – Oh, we’re still at this? Okay, so maybe the reactions were a tad more excited than that – at first.  Therein lies the problem.  The Read More

PSVR: After the Hangover (Review)

It has been a little over a week since I first got my PSVR, my time with it has been limited by other responsibilities, but I have had a fair chance to check out a lot of other stuff and to give you my full review absent from the new device bias. Hardware The headset Read More

Playstation VR: How is it?

Jacen Hardy’s Take:  I stood there speechless, turning the batarang over and over in my hands and marveling at the level of detail.  I was Batman and absolutely felt like it.  That was the moment that I knew PSVR was something special.  I own a Samsung Gear VR for my phone and expected a similar Read More

The Backlog: Rise of the Tomb Raider

Rise of the Tomb Raider came out last year on PC and Xbox One, I loved the first one but didn’t get around to playing it partially because I wanted to play it on PS4 with all of the DLC.  My determination held out until I found it on Steam for $30 with all of Read More

The Backlog: Mad Max

NOTE: This is the first in an ongoing series exploring Jacen Hardy’s attempt to clear out his massive backlog.  Check these for games that you may have missed and can now pick up for a hefty discount. Mad Max: Fury Road was my favorite movie of 2015 and I left the theater longing for a Read More

4 Hour Review: Forza Horizon 3 (PC)

Wow, a day 1 review on CTG!  This summer, Xbox decided to close down Xbox Fitness and refund all of the money people had put into the game.  My wife and I had tried it when I got my xbox but I sold my Xbox over the summer, so when I got the refund I Read More

Sony’s Misstep

Last week, Sony made a series of fumbles that seemed to come to a head today as they announced the delay of “The Last Guardian” to December.  However, there was one decision they made that I don’t think got enough attention.  The decision to not allow mods with either Skyrim or Fallout 4.  UPDATE: Apparently, Read More

Comicbook Review: Grizzly Shark

A violently graphic comedy that makes George R. R. Martin look like a character hoarder. I may be slightly biased as an on again off again owner of the nickname Sharkbait. Additionally, I maintain an incredible fear respect for most bodies of water and as well as a safe distance. When I spotted the comic Read More
